WELL, WELL, JERRY, THE INVESTIGATION THAT HAD BEEN HAPPENING RIGHT HERE IN THIS NEIGHBORHOOD WAS ALL CENTERED AROUND THIS RED HOUSE HERE ON BUFORD HUNT DRIVE IN SUSQUEHANNA TOWNSHIP POLICE WERE HERE OVER THE LAST SEVERAL HOURS, INVESTIGATE WHAT HAPPENED HERE. THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY SAYS DETECTIVES WERE AT THE HOME AROUND 11 AM INVESTIGATING THE AQUA IZATION OF CHILD PORNOGRAPHY ON THE INTERNET. THE DA SAYS THAT THEY’D MADE CONTACT. A Dauphin County man took his own life after being interviewed in connection with a child pornography investigation, according to the district attorney’s office. Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division of the district attorney’s office went to the man’s home on Beaufort Hunt Drive in Susquehanna Township around 11 am Thursday to talk to him about the acquisition of child pornography on the internet. The man confirmed that a mobile phone at the center of the investigation was his, authorities said. After the detectives took the phone for evidence, the man retreated further in the home and allegedly pointed a handgun at them. The detectives fled the house and Susquehanna Township police responded to assist. The district attorney’s office said officers then heard a gunshot inside the home. When officers went inside, they found the man dead. Pennsylvania State Police are investigating. The incident prompted the Dauphin County Department of Public Safety to issue a shelter in place order r for nearby residents.
